INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPTS

  1. Language: English 
  2. Maximum Length: 6 pages. Additional pages cost of $50 will be charged per page with a maximum of 2 pages.

  1. We should be able to print your manuscript on an A4 sized paper. Use 12 point BOLD size font for title, author, and address information centered over 2 columns, and 10 point size font for 2-column manuscript format. Dimensions are as follows: top margin: 7/8 inch; bottom margin: 1 inch; left and right margins: 3/4 inch; column separation 1/2 inch for 2-column format required.
  2. Manuscripts should be single-spaced with double spacing between paragraphs, and 5-space paragraph indentation. Allow an extra half space above a line containing superscripts and below a line containing subscripts. 
  3. Send by email the final camera-ready copy of your manuscript in PDF format. Do not number the pages and send the paper ID. 
  4. The paper should include: (a) Title - 10 words maximum length; (b) author's name, affiliation and present address; (c) abstract - Maximum 200 words for papers; (d) a maximum of six key words; (e) a clearly written introduction to explain the nature of the problem, previous work, purpose and contribution of the paper; and (f) a conclusions section must be included and should indicate clearly the advantages, limitations and possible applications. 
  5. Illustrations, graphs, and photographs may fit across both columns, if necessary, but keep the text in two-column format. Artwork must be in place on the article (preferably, included in the text file rather than pasted up). 
  6. References should be quoted in the text with a number in square brackets; for example: [1].
  7. Papers: author, title, journal, volume number, issue number and year, inclusive pages; for example: [1] G. E. Moore, "Microprocessor and Integrated Electronic Technology, " Proc. IEEE, vol. 64, pp. 837-841, 1978.
  8. Books: author, title journal, volume number, issue number and year, inclusive pages; for example: [2] M. Kayston and W. R. Fried, Avionic Navigation Systems, John Wiley and Sons Inc., New York, 1969.
Proceedings will be available at the conference.

The camera ready copy of the manuscript in PDF format must be sent to isspit@u-bourgogne.fr. A  completed IEEE Copyright Form(s), registration fee, author's registration form and a brief biography of the presenter must be sent by OCTOBER 6th, 2002 to the contact address   for  your paper to be published in the proceedings of the conference. EACH PAPER IS EXPECTED TO BE PRESENTED BY AN AUTHOR.
