Special sessions on Multi-agent Systems and Applications

(A PDF copy of the Call for Papers )

Agents and Multi-agent systems have become a very attractive approach for dealing with

complexity and have proved to be successful in many industrial domains. Building multi-

agent systems is still a challenge because very few guidelines and methodologies exist on the

topic. Therefore , further advances are required in formalisms, methodologies, tools - to cover

multi-agent systems development process.

The session on multi-agent systems and Applications will offer a forum for discussion and

exchange on theoretical and experimental research and applications related to the agents and

multi-agents field. Topics include (but are not limited to) :

-          Agent based software engineering

-          Agent architectures and Architectural models

-          Multi-agent based modelling and simulation of complex systems

-          Coordination and cooperation

-          Mobile agents

-          Applications of multi-agent systems and cases studies

Prospective authors are invited to submit 4 copies of full-length, four-page papers in two-

column formats including diagrams and references.  Authors can also submit their papers as

attached PDF or Postscript files to an e-mail message.  The title page should include author(s)

name(s), affiliation, mailing address, telephone, fax, and e-mail address. The author should

indicate one or two of the above categories that best describe the topic of the paper. Accepted

papers will be published in the Proceedings of IEEE ISSPIT 2002.

Manuscripts should be submitted to the session organizer:
